I graduated from the Institute of Design, Chicago—a school created out of the Bau Haus in Germany—where I studied under renowned photographers such as Aaron Siskind, Harry Callahan and Frederick Sommer.
I was a studio photographer in Chicago from 1959 until 1978 when we moved to Rochester, NY where I taught photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology. While teaching in Rochester I also became the food photographer for Wegmans food markets. Through it all, I have always made time to create my personal images and donate photographic services to not-for-profit organizations.
